sand and line cutting? put sand in a crack made by chisel then pull a line back and forth to cut a straight line like a saw....

Granite was cut using stone hammers (mauls) and chisels made from harder stones or metals like copper, bronze, and later iron. Repeated hammering created grooves or weak points to fracture the stone.

Stone mason here. That’s not natural granite. That’s mixed poured granite meaning man made. Natural granite comes in wave patterns not organized colour 😎

I’ve never seen that exact picture of that cut and noticed that the sawblade walked similar to the sawblades of today while cutting with diamond blades. amazing, unbelievable that they think they know
