It can also occur from when drivers inflate their tire too much. If you want to know more about it look up “f1 driver inflation”

This is not entirely accurate. A lockup in these cars occur when you brake too late AND try to turn the wheels. Braking tooo hard won’t cause a lockup because F1 brakes are literally designed for that

A lockup happens when too much weight is pushed to the front of the car putting excess weight on the brakes which makes then lock up
