that's why u lease a car for 2 or 3 years. walk away lease. most people trade in their car every 3 to 5 years anyway. most people have negative equity when they do it. lease is best.

I did a volunteer repo with Navy Federal and once they sold it they gave me a personal loan for the remainder. I ended up with a better credit score afterwards with no repo on my credit report.
