Pretty sure there’s not actually a regulation height for the fan iso as it’s for maintenance and not general switching, so here, above the door or low level is all fine. Just a matter of preference.

You can get a switch with a fan isolator and fuse carrier in all of the click range. You should always fuse the fan down to 3A as requested by the manufacturer. Just a heads up as I know the NIC have

ventilation regs require the fan to be on. therefore iso high level. I don't give the customer the choice. it is only for maintenance.

I’ve always placed fan isolators high level as they not used very often. Also stops the wife switching the wrong switch in the dark.👍
