When I post content about me respecting Islam or showcasing how I support him during Ramadan etc, overall we have positive reception. The hate that we do get is aimed at myself, so I can deal with that well. However, when I share videos on how Farhaan supports my faith (like during Christmas etc), we get an overwhelming amount of hate comments aimed at Farhaan. Many people are quick to accuse him of shirk for him merely entering a church. Ofc this is ridiculous, but for me personally, I can handle hate about myself much better than people disrespecting my husband like that. Ofc I already have quite a few videos posted about how he respects my faith & religious holidays & events, but it gets to the point where I don’t always feel excited to make a video that’s meant to show mutual respect & positivity just for the comments to be predictable & put down my husband.
