I only add weight when I no longer get tired on my last set. I add about 5 lbs every 3 to 5 weeks. That’s helped me reduce joint pain.

I think strength is more important than muscle size as you age. Plus, no powerlifter uses high reps. If joints hurt drop sets

I do TUT with 12-10-8 reps, to failure or pretty close. More reps takes me more time and I just don't want to spent 2 hours. Works for me 🤷
