@puuung1: In Episode 7, D&M embarked on their seventh journey to Jeollabuk-do. They visited ’Habitat of Fireflies and Their Prey, Muju‘, Muju Anseong Fireworks, ’Maisan Mountain, Jinan‘ Firefly, a luminous insect, is biologically valuable and is in danger of extinction because of water pollution. Therefore, habitat of fireflies and their prey, Muju is designated and protected as a Natural Monument. Nakhwa-nori (“nak” means “to fall” and “hwa” means “flower”) was named so because the fireworks descending a rope were reminiscent of flowers. It is a fireworks tradition that was carried out in Dumun Village in Anseong-myeon, Muju-gun, Jeollabuk-do Province, with schoolchildren made nakhwabong using mulberry charcoal and ignited them. Maisan Mountain consists of two peaks, Ammaibong (‘Female Maisan’, 686m) and Sutmaibong (‘Male Maisan’, 679.9m). The two peaks are said to resemble the ears of a horse, hence the name Maisan, which literally means “Horse-ear Mountain” in Korean.
