I also went to a hse psychiatrist and he would not believe me when I told him I was autistic (I’m officially diagnosed) and just said I’m just very anxious… such a bad system

psych can be a nightmare, it’s so hard to find one that understands all the intricacies of autism & adhd that you can build a good rapport with because they change every 6 months😅

It’s because they divided the criteria of Autism & ADHD are two separate divisions now 🙄 two separate care teams it’s fucked everything up you just get bounced around from one place to the next

Literally the feeling of every freaking appointment!!!! Oh you’re still depressed… you’ve done a lot of phycology care… what more do you want from us… I can only off you more drugs…. No please 🙄🙄🙄

Had to go private because the psych with HSE only saw me for 5 minutes each appointment and gave me to their head nurse for more detailed talks. She felt like I had BPD and this got put on my charts

I had an incredibly similar experience, gad diagnosed first, and only after my daughter was diagnosed with adhd and later autism, I found a professional who saw my AuDHD 🙈
