@lizpacini: 3 day beginner friendly DIY?! 🤯 i love how this one turned out! 😍 MATERIALS: • 1x5 horizontal (top is ~57" off the floor) • 1x4 verticals spaced ~24ish inches (plus or minus to avoid outlets) • Cove moulding on top of the baseboard (looks so good!) TOOLS: • Miter Saw • Laser Level • 18 Gauge Nail Gun THE PROCESS: • Install cove moulding if your 1x's are thicker than your baseboard. I promise this is the best solution! • Start with a vertical in one corner. Then use a laser level to get your horizontal level and nail it in with an 18 gauge brad nailer. • Floors and walls may not be level. Make each vertical cut as you go across the room. • Use inchcalculator.com to help you determine approximate spacing (so helpful!) Spacing doesn't have to be perfect - you can adjust it to avoid outlets. • Caulk all your seams & nail holes - warning this will take an actual year to complete • Paint whatever color you want! • Install wallpaper!
