Yeah, I did the trade in, had enough to put a nice amount down and got a check for the remainder. I'm quite happy with how it worked out.

when I totalled my toyota they paid the lease co the residual plus remaining payments and sent me a check for the equity.

For every $1000 down payment how much should the month payment go down. For example if you put $1000 down your monthly payment goes down by $10.
