Why am I just finding this series! This happened to me but instead got yanked out of bed and work up to yelling around that time …. It’s crazy bc now looking back our black mothers are the cause for a lot of our trust issues, anger, anxiety, depression, ect. And I don’t know if it’s an eldest daughter thing or what! I’m working so hard to reverse all of the trauma now in my mid 20’s so it doesn’t spill into my romantic relationships, friendships and relationships with my own kids in the future ❤

I forgot to wash the dishes as a kid and my mom woke me up in the middle of the night and I got dressed for school lbs she was like why are you dressed ?! Wash the dishes ! I was mad as hell

I’ve just recently discovered your page, and watched your baby journey then I saw people leaving comments about “tales of lotus” so I went searching for that story and Olin already filled with chills and tears because this story is way too familiar. I’ve been stranger from my mom for a little over a year and I’ve been so scared to share my story, afraid of who’s feelings I may hurt.
