Also the Met has an online gallery of free art to download and print off at your leisure. I think a few museums do.

I’ve seen people put the photos in front of the glass(or remove the glass) guild the frame and use modpodge or glue to create “brush strokes” to make it look like a painting

I do this! I also take screen shots of art I like (generally by dead artists bc I don't want to steal from working artists) and print them, and frame.
