Have found when I first started taking it (for PCOS) going the low dose alternative days working up to every day then up dose over a few weeks helped with GI symptoms.

Can I ask is it better to take insulin 30 mins before food ? My brother in law recently type 1 diabetes and struggling with BM levels , his Libra keeps alarming and sugars ranging 4.5 to 20 quickly

Still gastro problems every morning with XR after 4 years. Loperamide if I want to leave house before lunch. A bit better after started statins which can cause constipation - so balanced out 🤷♀️

metformin modified release stopped all the horrible side effects from normal metformin... although hate taking it as I i have B12 Deficiency an metformin depletes B12
