I would say DBD is not pay to lose, but it is by far THE most unfriendly game to new players. There needs to be a tutorial of facing EACH killer now.

A recent example I noticed of pay to win is the new Huntress Legendary skin which I think is a were elk where she has a male humming noise and it’s so much quieter which is good for stealth

Bill has been free for some time. Zarina can bought with shards. Meg comes with the game. Ds,BBQ, and a number of great perks have been in the shrine multiple times, including licensed ones.

maybe its pay to win for killer but considering two of the best killers are free and for survivor perks can definitely help but they don’t automatically make you better so not really pay to win

Not all new perks are meta breaking. Yes, the newest character (Taurie) has a good skill, but Trevor’s and Dracula’s skills are sh*t. And you can’t even buy them with iridescent shards.

You should be able to dump bloodpoints into characters you don't own so you can get their perks. Then you would still wanna buy them in order to use their bloodpoints offerings and not skip the grind
