They need a "tried but didn't tolerate" section on medical history. My Mom's allergy list is ridiculous and it's mostly for strong side effects.

i had to put medications i got adverse side effects with on my allergy list so they would stop trying to give them to me if I got hospitalized (triptans for migraines) it doesn't give me anaphylaxis

The albuterol one tho- how long does the tachy last & with what intensity? I can’t take albuterol bc the tachy lasts hours and causes severe pain, dizziness & exhaustion that gets worse w/ every dose

I used to have Albuterol on my list for tachycardia and I always got eye rolls because nobody believed it genuinely made my heart rate spike to potentially dangerous levels 😭 like idk what to say man

i once had a patient tell me he was allergic to all food. i, suspicious, put it in his chief complaint and advised the provider he was seeing. when asked, he stated that when he ate, his nose ran.
