my husband thought I was magic when I showed him this feature. I've been using it... since a 4th grader showed it to me last year! I know I'm the teacher, but they teach me, too.

Best IMO is the translate tool. I have 8 MLs that speak little to no English. It’s amazing- they don’t feel as isolated, can do the assignments well, and they have the English version as well.

Good tip. Google Docs voice typing is a great on-ramp for teachers, but the real friction usually shows up after the first sentence: punctuation, names, and quick cleanup while you’re still trying to keep the lesson moving.
