@robynscreations: Yesterday I spent some of my day off playing with my melting furnace and sand casting equipment! 😁 I melted down some of my scrap spoon bowls and fork tines and made a cast of each of these spoons. These spoons have a metal in them that doesn't bend well but I LOVE the patterns so I made a mold using my sand and poured the melted metal into them and TADA I was able to make a ring and a pendant. The sunflower pendant was supposed to be a ring but the metal didn't fill the mold enough so I'll keep trying. This process takes a lot of work but it's so gratifying when they turn out beautiful!
