I didn’t get PPD till my third child- had it horribly with SI. Before that I had never had anxiety a day in my life. Since then (she’s 5) I’ve struggled with anxiety and depression. I’m now 1/2

I’ve had hypersalivation in all 4 of my pregnancies and It was so frustrating that my doctors just said yeah it happens there’s nothing you can do. But it affected my nausea but also my mental health

The postpartum visit shocked me! I had a c section with my twins, and at the first 2 week visit I saw the nurse practitioner ( who I had never met before) … who didn’t even look at my incision.

I threw up with my daughter every day up until the same time, 24 weeks. My male OBGYN never even made any suggestions on how to alleviate that nausea and vomiting I had. I’m pregnant with my 2nd

My Ob and I both went through IVF so she actually understood me where when I seen others who hadn't they just weren't compassionate, I had a dr say to me that they didn't need to know.

I think, especially after birth doctors need to spend a little more time talking to patients. I just had a surgery total hysterectomy,plus other things. My doctor took the time to hear me out.

My husband told my doctor I feel violently ill then eat chips because it’s the only thing that sounds good, she told him she survived her first trimester on skittles, we both starred at him like 👀

I had severe Polyhydramnios, MCI and VCI with my 3rd. The fear with the MCI/VCI were heavy enough, then the misery and PTL for 3 WEEKS from the poly…. 3rd tri sucked

My mental health gets so much worse during pregnancy also and I take medication but the shift is usually around the 6 month mark when it gets worse.

Some ppl don’t even go to postpartum visits. I think phone calls to new moms should be mandatory. Some Moms are afraid to be judged for the PP dark thoughts.
