My daughter had a bacterial meningitis. Unrelated to the flu but it is absolutely horrible. So sorry to hear 😢

fever with stiff neck is a sign of meningitis anyone with those symptoms should be checked out asap.

Meningitis survivor 👋 got it senior year of college. Was hospitalized for a week, discharged the day of my graduation. Horrible experience, the pain was unimaginable.

A lot of hospitals will diagnose meningitis as a migraine. Even with MRI it sometimes do not show. The best way is for lumbar puncture but hospital will not simply perform it & sometimes it is too lat

I got adult meningitis. It was the most painful thing I've ever experienced in mu life. I had to.learn to walk again. I'm so sorry about your precious sister 🥺

My sister accepted the only job offer with life insurance. Got a health clearance, Upon starting, she was diagnosed with cancer. And died 2 mos after.

My brother got a bad case of pneumonia from the flu and he was in the hospital for months… after that we never think flu is just something that will pass in a week… never underestimate the flu💔
