@ctfl_official: The men’s 1500m in the Canadian Track and Field League this season was an interesting one to follow. Huskies’ Alec Purnell was the two-time CTFL champion coming into this season but then came along Matthew Beaudet in the 2024 Draft… With PR’s seconds ahead of the rest of the CTFL field, Beaudet would quickly rise to the top of the rankings, with 50 points heading into the CTFL Finals on July 6th. Here we saw both Purnell and Beaudet race head-to-head again where - as you see in the results - was quite the upset of a race.
