In the clip, which was on set of Lonely Road music video, mgk said "you can do whatever you want" when bunnie xo (@Bunnie Xo 🪄 ) preferred to use spring water instead of menthol, which mgk suggested using to make her watery eyed. After that, mgk clarified what he meant by that, saying "when I said you can do whatever you want, I walked away, I meant like, I'm just gonna go off and let you do whatever you want. That wasn't like a frustrated walk off. That was me saying you can literally do whatever you want. I'm gonna f off." When the interviewer mentioned this video, saying "on social media everyone calls you the communication King," mgk said: "I was so scared of my tone when I said that. my anxiety is so like. thank you that makes me really happy. I'm not one to care about people's opinions about the music I make or anything like that, but as a young man growing into a man. I mean growing up to a lot of things.
