@the360mama: Diastasis Recti Learning how to reconnect with your deep core muscles after birth is essential for resolving diastasis recti - the separation of the abdominal muscles that can occur in pregnancy. Before starting to do core exercises that involve movement sequences, try this first. Place a block or ball between your palms, inhale to expand the diaphragm and belly and as you breath out push your palms together while you imagine wrapping a corset around you waist and gathering your core muscles around you.
