Gen X here... Do the minimum required, but do it well. Overworking yourself and showing "initiative" gets you one thing.... more work. Hard work isn't rewarded now the way it was with the boomers.

As a business owner, problems that I found that are unique to this generation as I’ve dealt with people of all ages.. Gen Z does not take direction very well. They see it as criticism, they also refuse to assimilate to professional wardrobe and communication, lax professionalism. I see a lot of things about training in here, but when you try to train them they have a know it all attitude and do not like correction. This is a general statement that does not apply to everyone.

I'm GenX. I don't believe anything that corporations say (heard it all before). GenZ is likely far more interested to use mobile devices for work/life balance than adhering to '50s corporate culture.

Millennial here. I have a Gen Z worker who is fantastic - hard working and helpful. I've also had a Gen Z worker who was ....not. It just depends on the person, not so much when they were born

We were told for YEARS that we would get a high paying job straight out of college it is not unreasonable to have expected that and obviously you put in minimum effort if jobs give you minimal pay
