Played on turf one time in high school, that was the worst field I ever played on it was hard as concrete with plastic grass on top, you shouldn’t get shin splints from running on turf

They need to do with FIFA does. All FIFA fields have a layer of foam to soften the turf. It’s about 2-3 inches thick and it can’t be FIFA qualified unless it has this.
