@silverwave1959: It’s Not About Just Us After being in Europe for a week it’s clear the world is watching our upcoming presidential election as closely as we are. I’m sure opinions are split but all I’m hearing is folks saying they feel safer and more favorably towards Trump winning the election. In America it’s easy to get lost in our differences and the hate. I think that hate has clouded the vision of Harris voters or should I say Trump despisers? Perhaps people throughout the rest of the world are less tolerant to hyperbolic rhetoric and more concerned with peace. Or maybe because they don’t live here they are less clouded by media bullshit. America is far geographically from any places currently at war. Distance is our blessing but also blurs our perspective. War doesn’t threaten our land. Europe understands what war does when it lands on your soil we don’t. (Perhaps 911 opened our eyes but not really). So Kamala can spin a yarn and memorize lines to tickle the fancy of some Americans but I wonder that Europeans need more than “joyful fluff” and promises of “toughness from someone who has shown only weakness in her four years as the right hand of Biden. I haven’t met one American on our trip who is not disappointed with the Democrats. As one man put it “The whole world is watching” and I would add they are concerned who we elect. We’re almost one month from Election Day and your vote really counts. So think beyond your feelings and the headlines driven by a bias, corrupt, media. Get your head out of the spoon fed narrative and think for yourself. The world is depending on you.
