If a child is running everywhere then give them some heavy work, get them to push on walls, take them outside to run freely. They have a sensory need and you should find a way to cater to it.

For preschoolers, yes. But it will not work with kindergarten kids, they are just mini teenagers at this point.

Can you give some ideas for a kiddo that 100% tunes out my voice and only has eyes and ears for other students! I have tried to include everyone and be super dramatic and give awesome compliments..

I did this once and my district manager say me holding their hands and said I should never touch a child like that because it can be perceived as I’m yelling at them.

Ouh my goodness i tried that. They did for few second then started sprinting again!!!!!! The talking back from 18mnths-2 yrs old are my worst nightmare!

I teach middle 😭😅 I tell em “yall should be as quiet as you are when you’re supposed to be silent” bc they will be whispering and talking quiet when supposedly silent
