I don’t understand why dealers price their watches at Y when they will accept X. Why not just put your best price and don’t drop. It’s like you are hoping a weak or naive buyer comes in.

If you move that much its fair, they should come at 8k and then you both meet at 8.5k in the middle as I am sure it you say 9k there is still a little.more to move.
