Med school is hard. But the concepts you have to understand are not as challenging as, say, engineering, theoretical physics or maths. Same workload. No one is saying it isn't hard

I think people view things as hard or difficult subjectivly. I found it easy because i envisioned it being this monster of a task beforehand. Understanding things/systems is also different for people

I’ve seen a 4th year medical exam paper and the content isn’t difficult. When I compare it to a final year neuroscience or biochemistry it is night and day, literally.

in my last year of med school. it‘s not complicated. it‘s just a lot to learn. if memorizing stuff is easy for you, med school will not be as hard as it is for others.

Student nurse here and my doctor shock her head at me when I said I was thinking of studying medicine, she said “don’t do it to yourself” 😂😂 my hat goes off to all drs and med students!

it's all facts you're learning. there aren't really hard concepts. physics and maths are conceptually hard. but medicine requires a breadth and depth of knowledge that's probably unparalleled

I think they mean not hard as in abstraction / critical analysis. med is a lot of content to memorise and learning how to problem solve

I ignore those things and so the rest of med school isn't hard...but really, those things ok NHS can be explained simply and taught well, they just aren't.
