As an American living in Texas, I can confirm, Pumpkin Spice everything is a thing. There’s coffee, pie, cereal, bread, ice cream and candy. I’m sure there’s more.

Pumpkin spice doesn’t mean pumpkin flavor and spices, we mean taking the spices used in pie to other applications: mainly cinnamon and smaller quantities of nutmeg, clove, ginger, & maybe cardamom.

To be fair, that looks like Hokkaido squash, nothing like the pumpkins you find and eat in the US. Real pumpkins are incredibly hard to find in Europe.
