Honey we didnt get enough warning because just for work alone i was 2hr away when i got the call from my daughter daycare that roads were flooding i still had to go 2hrs back home to even get her

We were only warned of possible flooding—like maybe 24 hrs before? But we had already gotten hit with another system. We were NOT expecting to be slammed by at cat 1 (yes it was C1 when it hit E TN)

i live in Charleston and we just got hit by the outskirts of the storm and it was strong. tornado warnings, strong winds, etc. I can't even imagine what it was like in FL, GA, NC, TN, etc

I’m in East Tennessee, and there really wasn’t any warnings. I mean, the news said it was gonna be a bad storm, but not the devastation that it was. And even if we did now, a lot of us couldn’t leave

E TN here...we got an imaginable amount of water in a very short period of time. 19" in some places. far more than NOAA predicted. the dams couldn't hold it all. there was very little warning here.

There’s literally no where for me to go. West to Georgia that was in the direct line, north to west nc which is under water or east where I might have gotten to Columbia which is also flooded.

If you live in a bad area and loose electricity. You have no cell service to find out what’s going on. You get alerts but all we got was flood warning nothing on how bad or what area.
