I'm Italian, you don't put that much on the sauce. Maybe, 2 tablespoons it cut the acid from tomatoes 🍅

I mean putting maybe a teaspoon in your sauce while it's cooking to get rid of the acidity but beyond that no. I put salt, pepper and some parmesan cheese not sugar!

I don't use sugar in mines...I put a table spoon of grape jelly..it takes the acid out and it won't be sweet
