Broadly speaking, in aged cheese like Parmigiano, lactose has been "digested" by enzymes and thus poses no problems to those who are intolerant.

It’s so crazy that you say that because Parmesan and cheddar cheese are my absolute favorite cheeses and I literally eat those cheeses all the time and not even 30 minutes later it’s running out of me
