Also, check electrolytes! Sometimes it’s a short 5-10 beat run where interventions like cardioversion or amio aren’t necessary

Adenosine doesn’t work further down than the AV node. So it won’t work unless it’s an atrial fib or flutter with RVR and it stilll might not fix the RVR. Amioderone would be a better med for vtach
