Actually the dots are great if you are watching carefully and show them where to begin and the direction etc - Alongside a rhyme or memorable phrase

RWI knock off.. check with your child’s school what phonics scheme they use because they use different rhymes for letter formation and so may have to unlearn this to learn the new one 🫣

i feel like this overcomplicates writing. its great for a kid whos struggling with a certain letter, but idve really struggled being taught like this, rather than just copying letters.

I find writing the letters with a highlighter and then going over really helps as well

Nope. Those who are better at art and maybe struggled remembering things. The dots were the way. Other than how to spell because. Other rhymes just overcomplicate it. Glad my school didn't do this 😅

There's no need for gimmicks, just show them the letters and demonstrate writing them. Children are intelligent, they don't need patronising.
