@5icklove: fischbrötchen review from a kiosk at the hamburg harbor. bismarckhering is a style of pickled herring that is very mild and friendly and unfishy for first time pickled fish eaters. matjes is also very mild, a dutch style of pickling fish. my favorite is the red pickled schwedenfisch which looks like bl00dy 0rgan. brötchen = baby bread in the literal translation, aka roll. to eat it here in hamburg don't go to nordsee go to one of the kiosks by the water if you want it cheap fresh and real.
