for crate training what really helped was using word and treat associations. everytime my dog went in it, i would say “crate,” then good boy and give him a treat. eventually he learned and adapted

Do not give up on the crate! Let that be his safe space! Maybe cover it with a blanket, and put something in there that smells like you, for comfort!

He is soooo cute! Idk where his crate is but for our puppy it helped him being in our room. I’m sure people will say that is wrong and not how you crate train but for the first few weeks him seeing

Make sure you start getting him to see a groomer as soon as he has his shots. Even if he doesn’t need a trim that early. It’ll help him not have anxiety about it in the future! ❤️

get a snuggle puppy for him. I slept with my hand on our pups crate for 3 or 4 nights and he was good. :)

I would definitely stick with the crate training. It’s hard at first but it will be worth it to stick it out. I will say doodles attach very easy to their owner and do not like to be away from them.

2 weeks ago we got a chow chow puppy and he usually goes down around 10:30/11pm and sleeps through the night until about 6:30/7am and he goes out and we play with him and feed him and then take him out within 30 minutes to an hour after eating. We tried potty pads in the corner of the room but then realized it was easier to just very frequently take him out rather then give him the option for a potty bad. He’s been doing really well! Best of luck to you and congratulations on the new puppy!! 🥰

My doodle when he was 12 weeks oldish used to love to chew on mulch so I would just say when he’s in the t-Rex puppy teething stage get him a few teething treats and toys

there are videos on tiktok for kennel training. put treats in the kennel when you put him in the kennel, so he has positive association with the kennel, which will help.

My family got a bell to put on our back door so my dog could ring it whenever she wanted out . I recommend! Also I love the coffee talk video!

I’ve had 4 dogs so far and they usually cry in the cage obviously as he gets a little bigger he needs a bigger cage but you can try training him with treats or going to a trainer

For sleeping hack for your dog, put a blanket over like their crate or their kennel. It works a lot. I have two dogs.
