Yes 100% yes birth photos. I’d do those over maternity pics. They are some of my most prized possessions. My photographers were never in the way or intrusive and having the photos of the first time we laid eyes on our babies or held them for the first time is priceless.

I had a close best friend or family member besides my partner and had them use a professional camera 📷 ♥️that way it still felt intimate because I was so close with evyone in the room

I always felt so guilty about having things different between one child to the next. Will it ever be an issue of why you have them for one and not the other? I know the L&D nurses don’t mind 💜

I think it would have to be someone that I whole heartedly trust and love be there but honestly if it’s a stranger I wouldn’t personally - such an intimate moment and I loved the few photos my husband

I would say yes! Personally, I didn’t have a birth photographer but an amazing nurse offered to take some pictures on my phone right as I gave birth❤️I appreciate those pictures so much but…

Just my humble opinion… l would do just an intimate time with hubby. Maybe he can take a couple as she comes out etc. Then newborn photos. You’ll have a memory only you & hubby remember.

I’m a L&D nurse and we do them all the time when someone asks us to. They just give us their phones and we will get some for them. Unless you want some that look professional.
