A friend was having her backyard landscaped. Part of it was the removal of an old lemon tree. Under the lemon tree was the remains of a woman who went missing over 30 years ago.

Bloodgood, or Japanese Maple, thrive in moist soil. It is possible they used an old rug or carpeting as a way to keep moisture near the roots. But I would still call non emergency line to come check.

Grrrlll! I have a friend who once told me "if I had to do that, I would plant trees of protected species by law and NO ONE would be able to touch them"...😳😳😳😳 I don't talk to that friend anymore

I'm looking at all the comments wondering why someone would wrap up a pet in a rug. I would and have never. they were wrapped in their favorite comfy blankie. like? carpet? what? who? no mam.
