@kayinthekitchenau: This is the easiest way to ice a cake in my opinion.... and yes, if all u have is a ruler to smooth the sides..... that's okay!!! FULL DISCLOSURE- I am no cake decorating expert or will I EVER CLAIM TO BE lol But there is nothing more satisfying then to make something as a gift for someone. These are fresh flowers ( non toxic and wrapped at the stem) I couldn't film the ruler part properly sorry ( still need a tripod or something) I used the long side of the ruler to do the first part of flattening, then as I wanted lines on the cake, went in with the short end of the ruler. Can recommend the good old Lazy Susan for the spining too 😍😍 If you made it this far through the text.... Are u a woolies or Coles mudcaker?
