People really don’t like the unpredictability on shelter dogs convo. Like yes you can adopt a lovely dog for sure. But a lot come with baggage due to their past and being poorly bred, no it’s not-

My experiences with doodles are.. not great. I’ve met a couple alright ones but 80% of the time they’re either EXTREMELY unhealthy, matted or completely neurotic. Been bitten by them way too many-

Shelter dogs are 100% the best dogs imo I will always rescue over buying but that is my choice and I’m willing to deal with any behaviour issues to come.

i feel like people are misunderstanding unpredictable as dangerous instead of realizing most the time you meet these animals in a confined space for a short amount of time and then take them home. 1/2
