My daughter is in grade 1 and they have a manual with « alien » language… so basically just a bunch of syllables put together into « alien words and sentences ». So lot of fun to speak alien!

I play "find it, prove it". You ask a question about the book, they answer a question about the book, then they have to find the page that the answer is on, then they read out the answer.

my little one likes books above his level, he's 5 but we often read geronimo stilton, roald dahl or other small chapter books. his slp noticed much more improvement when we started doing this
