Following the customer’s instructions, the delivery person left the food at the doorstep, Collected the money that were in front of the door and returned to the restaurant. -As the restaurant’s owner tallied the day’s earnings that evening, he discovered several coins among the legitimate currency. Initially dismissing it as a prank, he set the matter aside. However, when the same scenario repeated over the next two days—with identical orders and payments—the owner grew suspicious. Determined to uncover the truth, he decided to personally handle the next delivery. -On the third day, the anticipated order arrived. The owner delivered the food himself, encountering the same dark apartment with no response at the door. He left the food at the doorstep as instructed and returned to the restaurant. This time, he carefully preserved the coins for closer examination. To his horror, upon re-examination, the coins had transformed into “hell notes”—traditional Chinese joss paper money intended for offerings to the deceased. -Alarmed by this revelation, the owner contacted the police. Officers arrived at the apartment and, upon forcing entry, discovered the decomposing bodies of four individuals. Forensic analysis revealed that they had succumbed to gas poisoning approximately a week prior. Strangely, the contents of their stomachs included food from Chiu-Wing-Kee, consumed within the last two days, suggesting an inexplicable anomaly. -Further investigation uncovered that the hell notes bore the fingerprints of two of the deceased, alongside those of the restaurant owner and delivery staff.
