We stopped going out and started hanging at home drinking with friends. It’s so much more fun, so much less money, less anxiety, we still have drunk stories and laughs in the morning.

Or still go out, just don't drink. Take a cup, put a nonalcoholic beverage in it, no one realizes you're not drinking. Takes some getting used to, but you can have a great time, no hangover.
