I didn’t realize doodle people are so against poodles. When people see my poodle (with a doodle cut) they get so excited saying they have a doodle as well then I say he’s a poodle and they’re like 🙄

I had a client very upset about their goldendoodle’s DNA test because it said 50% golden and 50% poodle. “I paid for a purebred dog!!” These people don’t even know what they’re buying 😅

Literally every reason they want a doodle is found in a well bred poodle. Personally I’ve noticed poodles hold themselves more confidently and doodles are kinda floppy if that makes sense

i have a lab, poodle, and bernese mix in my training classes and he is almost 100 lbs mostly looks lab with some white accents… but the rest of his litter is 60 lbs with curly hair… yes the results will be that crazy

I tell people this when getting kittens vs adult cats. One doesn’t have a formed personality, so you don’t know what you’ll get. One already has a personality and you get what you sign up for.

Worked at a Vet hospital for a while & we had COUNTLESS doodles every week coming with allergies. They’re allergic to everything & maintaining their diet can be super high maintenance
