@bengingi: This is genuinely one of the best cakes I've ever made and I can officially say that it's been added to my Rosh Hashanah menu! All 10 layers of caramelized honey cake are topped with my homemade cream filling and then the entire cake is coated with graham cracker crumbs or leftover cake crumbs. The caramelized honey gives each bite a deep, rich, nutty flavor and beautiful color. Like tiramisu, it tastes even better after sitting overnight because all the layers just melt together making it just the perfect cake for any occasion!
