was having this conversation with my hubby about how people say this all the time, 'but but you talk!" and I'm like yes speech therapy is a thing you know but yeah still Deaf!!

So funny you posted this cause someone today just told me I’m not deaf if I can speak 🙄 deaf people can talk.. they can’t seem to comprehend that!

Hearing people have no idea how difficult it is to lip read. I didn't know how little I could hear until I got my hearing aids
