Conrows have a significant amount of black culture behind it, back in the 1800s black ppl used cornrows to communicate with others. And the navigate from the south to the north, this is probably why people get a little offended when you wear them, me personally i dont mind but just be respectful of other peoples cultures please. And make sure you look deeper into the history behind those braids. Im not saying all white people did this but back then some white people were calling braids ghetto and were putting down black people for wearing them, so when yall are getting them now they get offended cause yk its like yall all the sudden wanna get them now.
