maybe he feels uncomfortable bc of how he has to portrait Lyle under the directors eyes n script but as well maybe he is protecting his mind set cause taking a roll like that I'm sure it's not easy

I don’t think he watched the trial. Once you do it’s almost impossible to see lyle as some raging frat boy. But he’s also had to follow a script so Murphy is really one to blame
