Dissolvable stitches are really bad at being dissolvable lol. I had mine in for 3 weeks, showered every day after about 9 days and they were still there fully intact.

my c section stitches were dissolvable but I ended up pulling the out cos the knot didn't stay under and annoyed the heck out if me so I tugged it,it felt weird,then it slid out.

These suck as mine never dissolved and I had to use hydrogen peroxide to dissolve what popped outside my skin

mine have always been knotted on the outside. and my body doesn't dissolve them all and gets irritated so I have to pull what's left out

I've only ever had stitches from having my wisdom teeth surgically removed. they were so uncomfortable. they felt way too tight. and they never dissolved. I cut them out after a week of torture.

I had independent stitches when I got my appendix removed but I forgot about them and when they started itching I accidentally scratched it and pulled one out. I almost fainted 😂
