Are you gonna stick aluminum foil to the 2 side tape? Or you're just gonna leave 2 side tape. Cause there's gaps he can get through.

My cat dont scratch furniture, he has a big cattree and mats on the floor he use. it's funny how different cats can be. specially about biting humans 😹😹

What has worked for me is cat deterrent spray or cheap clear vinyl wrap so it doesn’t mess up your furniture. They also sell upholstery tacks and regular vynal of different thickness at fabric stores
